Wadi Al-Sail Z110, Yemen
Yemeni coffee has been grown and processed the same way since at least 1450 CE. This lot is from a small group of Wadi Al-Sail farmers in the eastern Haraz region. Z110 opens with distinct notes of dried raspberry and spiced date, followed by powerful tones of nutmeg and clove. Lingering syrupy-molasses and brown sugar carry throughout the cup, finishing with a hint of pomegranate. It’s balanced, layered, and complex - a standout expression of Yemen’s smallholder coffees.
