Dota Dark was previously known as Dota French Roast and Dota Espresso. Dota is a canton in the province of San José, Costa Rica. Known for its exceptional coffee, Dota’s small-scale farmers cultivate beans on farms averaging 8.5 acres. We believe this region produces the finest coffees in Costa Rica. This roast was developed for smoothness and extra richness, and has notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and walnut.
